Truth be told: My health situation is worsening. The LORD has put it on my heart to prepare for death, whether it be days from now or years from now. I am comfortable and content and confident in the arms of the Savior. My doctors had good things to say today. My situation is not critical, but somehow my thoughts are aimed towards preparing for Heaven. Today's WORSHIP QUOTE is a sweet and powerful song about death. There are links to free materials at the end. Please take a listen.

IT IS NOT DEATH TO DIE

It is not death to die,
To leave this weary road,
And join the saints who dwell on high
Who’ve found their home with God.
It is not death to close
The eyes long dimmed by tears,
And wake in joy before Your throne,
Delivered from our fears,

CHORUS
O Jesus, conquering the grave
Your precious blood has power to save.
Those who trust in You
Will in Your mercy find
That it is not death to die

It is not death to fling
Aside this earthly dust
And rise with strong and noble wing
To live among the just,
It is not death to hear
The key unlock the door
That sets us free from mortal years
To praise You evermore,

February 9 Treatment Update, Still in the Hospital

Dear praying friends and family,

Thanks for praying for me. I am in the hospital. My doctors are treating my Lymphoma and an assortment of bacterial infections. I'm extremely weak, but have no pain. I am preparing to die (again, whether that's near or far) and crying tears of great joy and satisfaction. If you aren't trusting in Jesus alone for hope in this life and the next, you cannot possibly understand the peace that passes understanding. Come to Jesus.

If you haven't already done so, please listen to the hymn from this week's Worship Quote.

Resting in Him; He is my Portion forever.
