The Worship Quote of the Week for (07/03/2007):

Intercession according to the Will of God
Prayer can be hard work. Jesus taught us to pray, "Thy will be done," but it is often difficult to know how to pray in such a way that we are in tune with the will of "our Father in heaven." Today's WORSHIP QUOTE is a scriptural reminder that we do not need to wait for the perfect words or even for a clear understanding of God's will in a particular situation. Our prayer tutor is the apostle Paul.

INTERCESSION ACCORIDING TO THE WILL OF GOD
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

—Romans 8:26-28. The English Standard Version. Of course, the following section (Rom 8:28-39) is one of the most comforting passages in the Bible. Read on.
