"My Heart Is Filled with Thankfulness" I trust that many of you have had the blessing of singing “In Christ Alone” or “The Power of the Cross” by Stuart Townend and Keith Getty. Well, today’s WORSHIP QUOTE is yet another new hymn by the same pair. “My Heart Is Filled with Thankfulness” expresses the Christian’s gratitude to God for all that it means to be “in Christ”—salvation, sanctification, and the sure promise of eternity with the Lord. MY HEART IS FILLED WITH THANKFULNESS My heart is filled with thankfulness To Him who bore my pain; Who plumbed the depths of my disgrace And gave me life again; Who crushed my curse of sinfulness, And clothed me with His light, And wrote His law of righteousness With power upon my heart.
